Pros and cons of Weather Live° app for iPhone and iPad

Weather Live° app good for

As a rancher this app is the first thing I look at every morning.

Love being able to set my display the way I want it. Very informative. Visually pleasing.

Many apps come me and go, but this is one of my top useful apps Ive kept with me. I love it! -lovemando.

Finally, a weather app that has everything I want! Its the only one Ive found that shows the amount of precipitation. And theres no extra junk either. I guess Ive tried 10-12 weather apps over the years....but Ive finally found the best one. And every morning, theres an automatic banner that tells me a brief weather description. I love this app. It couldnt be better.

The app is great and worth every penny. l love it! I do have one question: Will you be adding a Pollen Alert or allergy alerts sometime in the near future? Thanks!

I love this app. It is very accurate and the readings it gives me always agree with the local weather conditions as presented by local news and other apps. It was worth the cost of the bundle.

Some bad moments

The app is attractive but useless. Weather forecasts for my area (PA) are way off. Frequently. This is increasingly apparent the longer I have the app. So really no point in having it. I finally got on here to check if others were experiencing the same thing. Right now NOAA and all other weather forecasts in our immediate ares are predicting up to 4 inches of snow with another 2 inches tomorrow. 100% chance of snow overnight. The app is not predicting ANY snow and saying it will be partly rainy. This happened a couple weeks ago also. We got about 10 inches snow and the app did not forecast snow. Since a reliable forecast is the purpose of a weather app —this one is useless! I am in the app store too find another weather app and will delete this one.

I got this app a month or so ago and have really liked it until today. When I opened the app today I got a pop up to try one of the developers other apps. I’m not able to do anything with Weather Live unless I click on one of the buttons. This ticks me off! I paid for the app so it shouldn’t be held hostage by a pop up ad. I shouldn’t be getting any ads! I will not be purchasing any more of Apolon’s apps.

It is reading 90 degrees F on another scale and this app will not adjust to current readings. Seems it has gotten stuck on the 6 am readings This isn’t the first time either. Not very user friendly,

When you pay money for an app.... you expect to get accurate weather. During many storms I check the app to see how correct it is, and I see partly cloudy as the thunderstorm is hitting my house. It does not help with weather and the extra features don’t provide any benefit. I would like a refund.

With all of the positive reviews this app as I really wanted to love it, but I just can’t. I really don’t care for the layout and color choices. I also don’t like that the hourly forecast is only every three hours. The app seems to waste a lot of Usable screen space we were most of the layout they provide as options.

Well I wanted to message the support team first but all they do is have a link to another app. My problem is I do not know where or what service they use to get their weather. For instance this week alone this app is calling for heavy snow in my area when every other weather service is not. How are they so wrong? I’ve had many instances of bad weather reporting from this app. I have given them plenty of time to correct themselves, yet nothing has changed. I’m setting this app aside and going with accuweather. At least they’ve been around for a long time and have a much better track record. I’m sorry for airing all of this here but as I’ve said they didnt allow for this conversation to happen on their site or privately.
